Knowingness as a felt sense in the body vs. belief

Knowingness is an ego-less state where the intuition can sense the truth of a matter. We as human beings have the ability to fine tune our intuitive perceptiveness so we can literally feel when something is true as a tangible set of sensations in the body. Beliefs on the other hand, come from the ego and involve attachment. When you are genuinely non-attached and want to know the truth you can begin exploring how your body feels in response to true and false statements that you absolutely know are true or false (such as your name or today's date). Muscle testing is generally the 'gold standard' when it comes to getting the body to communicate its subconscious wisdom but there may be times when either it's not practical to muscle test (such as being in the company of others at work) or when you want extra feedback from your body to double check a muscle tested result. Becoming attuned to the sensations that indicate truth or untruth in the body is one of the most powerful spiritual practices you can include in your life.

When something is true/yes, the body responds expansively:

  • Muscles relax and are physically stronger

  • The statement feels like a relief to acknowledge even if it's bad news

  • Feeling a clear flow of energy right though the heart from back to front with no blockages or 'murkiness' felt in the heart in response to the statement

  • The body feels more stable and collected in response to the statmement (grounded into the truth)

  • An accurate muscle test will come out as strong/yes for that statement

When something is untrue/no, the body responds contractively:

  • Muscles tense and are physically weaker

  • The statement feels dead or hollow (because there's no 'aliveness' to it - its not true!)

  • Feeling a blockage or murkiness of energy right though the heart when scanning it from back to front - the heart doesn't resonate with the statement

  • The body feels more unstable and confused in response to the statmement

  • An accurate muscle test will come out as weak/no for that statement

Signs that you can't read the truth of a situation either way (sometimes we are blocked from knowing certain information for the highest good! It's worth knowing when you aren't getting either answer)

  • Your hands go slippy or weak before even performing the muscle test or you feel something is 'off ' about testing the question (it's worth asking before any other muscle test is performed 'can I get an accurate answer now about this?')

  • The statement feels empty, but also like there is a 'wall' or screen around the situation, blocking you from seeing

  • Feeling a neutrality of energy right though the heart when scanning it from back to front - the heart doesn't respond either way to the statement

  • The body feels frozen in response to the statement

  • You muscle test the same question several times but keep getting different answers
